Personal Lines Account Manager

Woodstock, Ontario

We require an experienced insurance professional for the position of Personal Lines Account Manager within our team. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized and customer service focused.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote new personal lines insurance accounts
  • Service an assigned section of personal lines clients
  • Obtain competitive insurance quotes using Quoting system
  • Maintain the highest level of customer service and professionalism for our existing clients, providing them with assistance and advice for any of their insurance needs in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • RIBO licensed required
  • University degree or college diploma
  • Minimum 2 years of personal insurance experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Applied Systems software

Commercial Lines Account Manager

Tecumseh, Ontario
St. Clair Insurance Brokers Inc., Tecumseh location is seeking an insurance professional to join our commercial service team. We require an individual with commercial insurance knowledge who possesses superior customer service expertise and will deliver quality service to our clients. Please note that this position will be a 6-month contract position to cover a maternity leave, with the possibility of permanent employment following the contract term.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Marketing of new business, renewals and negotiation with company underwriters
  • Develop and grow client relationships
  • First point of contact with client for any mid-year changes, questions, concerns, etc.
  • Processing of all related documentation as required
  • Maintaining professional relationships with key insurers to ensure maximization of growth and retention opportunities

If you have:

  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
  • The ability to work well under pressure with minimum supervision
  • 3 or more years’ experience working in commercial insurance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Proficient skill with computer applications including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Knowledge of Broker Management Systems – Power Broker an asset

And you meet the requirements of:

  • Registered Insurance Broker of Ontario (RIBO) License
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years insurance/brokerage experience
  • CIP/CAIB designation (an asset)
